Do to fluctuations in electrical and current into your home as well as phone line spikes your new system can be ruined. You should protect your system with low cost 3 year extended full coverage/replacement warranty. You should also use the proper type of surge protector for the power and phone line. If spikes go into the MSNTV terminal it can damage the TV it is hooked up to. Electrical storms also will cause damage do to line spikes.
